Jacob Zack is a Senior Technical Specialist at 413, where he performs data collection, field research, and program evaluation for the U.S. Government. He has a proven track record of generating actionable insights for U.S. policymakers and practitioners across the Department of Defense, the Department of State, and the U.S. Institute of Peace.
Jacob helped create USIP's report on Elite Capture and Corruption of Security Sectors and USIP's report on the Future of the Security Sector in Ukraine. Previously, Jacob conducted research for the Bureau of Conflict Stabilization Operations (CSO), the Wilson Center, and the Center for Security Studies. He has also worked as an academic research coordinator at Emory University and a management consultant for PwC.
Jacob holds a master’s in security studies from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s from Emory University. Jacob has worked or studied abroad in Bolivia, France, and Peru. Jacob's foreign policy analysis has been featured by USIP and published by the Georgetown Security Studies Review. Jacob is a professionally produced and published playwright.
